      jobs per year

      Over 1.4 million jobs

      *FY2022 results

A job is the unit of use of a supercomputer by a researcher.
A single job can run application programs such as numerical simulations or data analysis. The ability to process a large number of jobs throughout the year is one of the performance indicators of a supercomputer.

      Earth simulator
      node availability rate

      99.95%

      *FY2022 results

This rate indicates the normal operation time versus the failure time during supercomputer system operation period.
A high availability rate means that the supercomputer has few failures and operates stably throughout the year.
