The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology
The Mutsu Institute for Oceanography (MIO; Dr. Shuichi Watanabe, Director) of the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC; Mr. Yasuhiro Kato, President) will open its research facilities and the Oceanographic Research Vessel “MIRAI” as described below, to increase understanding of local people on our research activities.
Panel exhibition and special onboard tour will be held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the R/V “MIRAI”.
Learn! Enjoy! About The Ocean People can experience mystery and lure of the ocean through the on-board tour and experiment classes.
