The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC: Yasuhiro Kato, President) will open the Manned Research Submersible “SHINKAI 6500” and its support vessel “YOKOSUKA” to the public at the Odaira Pier, Port of Ominato in Mutsu City, Aomori Prefecture.
On the day before, the active pilot of the “SHINKAI 6500” will share his experiences. And also, marvelous achievements brought about by the deep-sea research utilizing “SHINKAI 6500” will be introduced.
