The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC: Yasuhiro Kato, President) will be hosting the Seventh Earth Simulator Symposium as described below. The aim of the symposium is to increase public awareness of the possibilities of computer simulation sciences, by introducing state-of-the-art research findings from projects using the “Earth Simulator,” a high-performance parallel computer, in an easy and understandable manner.
