Earth Simulator Symposium 2010
- Computer Simulations to Better Prepare for Natural Events -

The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) will be hosting the 8th Earth Simulator Symposium as described below. The aim of the symposium is to increase public awareness of the possibility of computer simulations, by introducing state-of-the-art research findings brought about by the Earth Simulator.

1. Date and time : Tuesday, October 5, 2010, 13:00-17:00 (Admission starts at 12:30)
2. Venue : Akihabara Convention Hall, 1-18-13, Soto-kanda, Akihabara Daibiru 2F
(One minute walk from Akihabara Station; refer to the MAP)
3. Admission : Free (pre-registration is required)
