Dr. Imai received Coastal Engineering Journal (CEJ) Citation Award 2016

Dr. Kentaro Imai received the Coastal Engineering Journal (CEJ) Citation Award 2016 as a co-author for the research paper “Damage Characteristic and Field Survey of the 2011 Great East Japan Tsunami in Miyagi Prefecture”. The CEJ Citation Award recognizes an influential work that provided significant scientific and engineering impacts to interdisciplinary fields, and is annually determined based on the total number of citations on all journal papers over the past five years. Dr. Imai is a research scientist in the Seismogenic Zone Monitoring Research Group at JAMSTEC's Research and Development Center for Earthquake and Tsunami (CEAT). The award ceremony was held at the 64th Coastal Engineering Committee on 26 October 2017.
